Exploring Futures with the Career Exploration Expo

What an incredible Career Exploration Expo! Over 700 students from 5 local high schools explored their futures with 25 local businesses, 15 colleges, 4 military recruiters, and 3 inspiring entrepreneurs. They also participated in breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics, including what employers look for during interviews, resume building strategies, budgeting tips, careers in the military and as a first responder, the college experience, and insights from current college students.

Students left feeling empowered and excited about their future career paths! Thank you to all our partners for making this event a success!

Robots Ready! Ripley County Robotics Season Begins

Our Ripley County Robotics team kicked off the season with their first practice this month! We are excited to share that the team has grown and now has students from 5 areas schools: Batesville High School, Homeschool, Milan High School, Oldenburg Academy, and South Ripley High School.

The team is gearing up for the VEX V5 High Stakes Competition and showing that teamwork makes innovation possible!
 

A Full Crowd of Future Innovators

We are thrilled to announce that the Emerge: Young Innovators Summit has reached max capacity! This conference, to be held on October 16th at Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus, will educate high school students on the business landscape.

We are thankful to our local schools for embracing this new program. Students from 7 area schools will be joining us, Batesville High School, East Central High School, Jac-Cen-Del High School, Lawrenceburg High School, Oldenburg Academy, Rising Sun High School, and South Ripley High School. We can't wait to see the students there as we embark on an exciting journey of innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
 

Maximize Your Impact on Our Day of Giving

The Ripley County Community Foundation’s Annual Day of Giving will be on Friday, November 3rd. Stop by our office to support the Genesis program with gifts having the possibility of being matched at 50%!

Day of Giving will take place at our office, located at 13 E. George St. Suite B, Batesville, IN 47006 between 8:00AM - 4:00PM.

*Matching funds may be placed into an endowed fund of the donor's choice and shall not exceed $5,000 per fund. A total of $75,000 in matching funds is available on a first come, first served basis.
