Inspiring Entrepreneurship Among High School Students

The 2024 D.I.C.E. Challenge was an exciting showcase of innovation and ambition! The regional competition tasked high school students with creating a business product or service, developing a business plan, and pitching their ideas to a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs.

Congratulations to:
Samantha Airgood and Kaylee Sarley from Lawrenceburg High School for winning this competition with their idea of Bites, a bite-sized cookie company. They received $3,000 to further expand their business goals!

Aiden Sirk from Lawrenceburg High School for being the second place recipient of $2,000 for his idea of Sirk Tutoring, peer-to-peer, affordable, quality tutoring.

Sophia Sullivan from Jac-Cen-Del High School as the third place winner of $1,000 with the idea of Educational Social Solutions, a social media solutions company for K-12 schools.

This challenge not only highlighted the creativity and drive of our local youth, but also emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurs in fostering economic growth. Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and incredible ideas. Our community’s future is in good hands!

Turning the Ordinary into the Extraordinary

Are you ready to think outside the box? The Rube Goldberg Machine Contest is back, and we’re looking for teams to show off their wacky, wonderful inventions. This year’s challenge is to Feed a Pet in the most fun and unique way possible.
