Which camps are the most popular?
Our Kids Building Bikes Camp and DIY Woodworking Camps are consistently the most popular. They often sell out within minutes of registration opening, so we encourage families to register as soon as possible. Why are there no camps the week of June 29th – July 3rd?
We take this week off from camp programming to allow our staff time to reset and prepare for the remainder of the summer. Summer is the best time of year—but it’s also our busiest—so this short break helps our team recharge and get ready for the exciting camps still ahead.Do you offer camperships to help offset registration fees?
Yes! We never want financial barriers to prevent a student from participating. Camperships can be requested during the registration process by simply indicating that assistance is needed. Because this is a trust-based system, we ask that families request support only if it is truly needed, so we can ensure camp opportunities remain accessible for those who need them most.Who designs the camp curriculum and activities?
The Genesis team works alongside educators, community partners, volunteers, and even students to design engaging, hands-on camp experiences. This collaborative approach helps us create meaningful activities that expose students to new skills and career pathways. If you are interested in helping design curriculum, volunteering, or sharing your expertise, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us by emailing: info@genesisp2s.org.
